The Baita Caricc Farmhouse is located in località Caricc, at 1990m MSL, surrounded by the wonderful natural scenery of Val Viola and just a few kms away from famed turist hotspots like Bormio and Livigno. The farmhouse sits next to the crystal clear Viola stream, fed by the Dosdè glacier. It is operated by the Lazzeri family, who, with passion and competence, is going to help you enjoy to the fullest the wonderful Val Viola mountains, in a positive and familiar way.

Our dishes are a direct product of our ingredients, which have the great priviledge of being wholly authentic and genuine.
All of our recipes are part of valtellinese tradition; sometimes they may be revisited with a modern twist, but always without losing their original feel.
The most important thing for our kitchen is its simplicity, for this reason we try to keep a traditional rustic feel in all of our dishes.

What you find on the table here comes from our everyday wark at our farm.
Alpage cheese, butter, fresh yogurt, mountain milk, beef and vegetables are just a few of the delicacies that we present every day to our clients.
During summertime around twenty cows, raised with all the love and respect that they deserve, are free roaming in the grass surrounding the facility.

The lodge exclusively offers Valtellinese wines, produced locally in Sondrio by the Alberto Marsetti winery, reinforcing the strong bond with our territory and roots.

To celebrate life's most important moments, we organize every kind of ceremony, like weddings, christenings, confirmations, birthdays and graduations. The charming scenery represents a wonderful setting for a unique event.
