Useful indications
The farmhouse is situated in the heart of Val Viola, in località Caricc, 1990m MSL.
Summer
The farmhouse is easily accessible throug the strada statale n. 301 del Foscagno, which connects Bormio and Livigno.
In Località Arnoga on the left is the exit for val Viola: during the summer it is possible to leave the car at one of the four parking spots located on the route.
Winter
During the winter the road is closed to traffic following the first snow.
The lodge can be reached on foot, with snow shoes, nordic or alpine skis, following a snowcat track.
The path to reach the lodge is of medium difficulty with good weater and it is ca.5,5 km long.
Arriving in Valtellina
From Milan
From the highway exit in Milan, take the Strada Statale 36 Milano-Lecco-Colico, and then the Strada Statale 38, reaching Tirano first and then Bormio.
From Val Camonica
Through the Aprica pass, you will reach Tirano and then continue towards Bormio.
